Welcome to the Grass Cattle  website. 

This is a new business with a simple philosophy.  To breed cattle which embody those fundamental traits that Angus were once well known for - moderately sized, thick, easy fleshing animals that were once  famous around the world  for the quality beef they produced.     

We have also started a new way of working with other producers and developed our “Multiplier Contracts” for those who share our vision.

· Good milking ability

· Low birth weight - easy calving

· Good calf viability/survival rates

· Fertile

· Docile temperament - easy to handle

· Medium size - low maintenance costs

· Early puberty - first calving at 2 years

· Mobile structure and sound feet

· Ability to be out-wintered

· Growth rate

· Carcass quality
